Mission East > Wheat harvest in Jaira
Mission East > Jaira gardens make use of water draining from a tapstand.
Mission East > 15) "I like this photo, mainly because I like the people in it. A great team who did a great job." THE END
Mission East > 05) "...I would then hand over to Andrea, Madhab and Ekraj who would run the needs analysis section using participatory rural assessment tools such as we see here at the Jaira meeting."
Mission East > 16) It was a common site to see kids with outsized stomachs, such as this young boy in Jaira. As we walked past this village, all the people came out to use to passsionately tell us their problems and in particular the lack of water. It was a desparate site in this village and, although we did not visit it, we can presume that conditions in the lower-caste Dalit village nearby were even worse."

Mission East is a Danish international relief and development organisation, working in Eastern Europe and Asia. Our aim is to deliver relief aid, to create and support long-term development projects and to empower local aid organisations to carry on the work independently. Making no racial, religious or political distinction between those in need, we aim to assist the most vulnerable.
